The Market Abuse Regulation: Disclosure of Inside Information

Timely and accurate disclosure of information to the market is a key obligation of listed and other companies trading their shares on a variety of markets.  These obligations are set out in the EU Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) with guidance provided in the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules (DTR).

MAR came into force in July 2016.  Many of its requirements are similar to those it replaced under the Market Abuse Directive.
